“The vineyard of Le Vallon de l’Aigle (The Eagle Valley) is unique. This wine takes its name from the eagles and hawks which fly over this south-facing site. These old vines represent the quintessence of my life as a winegrower. Only made in outstanding vintages, this wine offers extreme complexity and silkiness with notes of violet, wild raspberry, incense, tobacco and minerality. Achieving superb balance it is a long lived robust wine indeed.
